This is my favorite song out right now. The production is exquisite, the lyrics are brilliant, but most of all...his voice! WOW. This is probably one of my favorite songs in several years...yes, I find it to be that good. Sadly, it seems that this one is too deep and melancholy for today's country radio gatekeepers. Based off its chart performance so far, it doesn't look like this is going to be a very big hit...the fact that so many people will miss out on hearing this masterpiece just crushes me.  |
