I liked all of the single releases off his last CD and was happy to see Chris finally break through. As for this song it seems he is chasing the sound that seems to be dominating the radio at the moment. I can't say I blame him, but hope his next single is more in the vein of what was on his last CD.

This is definitely my least favorite Chris Young single, and it's an instant station-changer for me. I haven't heard the rest of the album, aside from the title track "A.M.", but I didn't like that one either. Based on some comments I've read, it seems to be a mix of the more rockin' songs for live shows and the more traditional fare that he's typically been known for, so I'm sure the album should generate at least 1-2 better-quality singles.

This song appears to be peaking and I can't say I'm upset about it. I'm ready for something new from Chris as I have been burned on this one for awhile now.

This is easily my least favorite Chris Young single, so I won't be upset at all if it misses out on #1. With that said, however, I'm not convinced that this has indeed stalled at #3. It's definitely struggling, but I see that Chris is co-hosting Lon Helton's countdown show next weekend (16th/17th), and so he should get an extra spin on the syndicated show, and that could mean that RCA is planning a final "power up" week beginning tomorrow. I think we'll know by Tuesday or Wednesday whether this is done, or whether it'll make a play for #1 yet.
