I really enjoy this one and like it much better than her last single. Country radio is starting to warm up to some new females and "I Ain't Your Momma" did manage to go Top 30. She is on a small independent label, so that accomplishment is remarkable when the bigger labels haven't been as successful in breaking a new female as of late other than Jana Kramer and Kacey Musgraves. I am hoping this single will out peak her last.

This song continues to inch it's way up ever so slowly. Not sure how much longer it will hang on, but hopefully it can make the Top 25.

I hope so too--in my ideal world, this would be a multi-week #1 hit. Maggie sings the heck out of this one, and the production is just gorgeous. The lyrics are top notch as well. I really wish there were more songs out at radio today that were more in this 'style', but I'll take what I can get. This is certainly one of my top 5 favorites right now. Oh and btw, welcome back, country65! Haven't seen you in a while! |

Thanks for the welcome back jhomes87. Will try to do a better job of stopping by and posting my thoughts. It's a shame more people don't post here.
As for "Better", I agree it is one of the best songs at radio right now (my opinion) in terms of lyrics and production.

Maggie is still hanging in there, but she's been stuck in the 30-32 range for more than a month now. I'm not sure how much longer this one can hang in there, but RPM has definitely been doing a good job.

Those bigger songs keep passing it by and pushing it back or keeping it in a holding pattern. Still quite an accomplishment for a tiny label promoting a female artist in the current radio market. |

This is officially done now. Literally the day after I made my post, and this one started to plummet on Mediabase. Hopefully RPM keeps at it...a pair of top 30's for a small indie label and a flagship female artist is nothing to sneeze at. It'll be interesting to see what the next single will be, assuming they do push a 3rd single from the album.
