A gain of more than 2 million last week, and "Wanted" is up almost 1 million after just 2 days this week already. It looks like Hunter will pass both Easton Corbin and Kelly Clarkson this week, and he'll gain ground from NH and SBAT leaving the top 10. It looks like he's gonna be neck-and-neck with Big & Rich, though, so if they sneak ahead, that'd cancel 1 spot.
For now, I think Hunter will get at least 1 more week ahead of the new ZBB single but eventually will likely have to let that one by. This one has a good chance to move up 4 spots to #21, though, if it keeps gaining like it has the last few days. A 2.5 or 3 million gain would put "Wanted" right on the heels of the Thomas Rhett/Thompson Square/The Farm trio...I'm inclined to think that group will stay just ahead of Hunter this week, but next week could be a different story.
I am not really a fan of this song, and I actually don't like his voice on most of his material, but I do like "If You Told Me To" so I would've rather had that as a ballad single instead but oh well. Just my opinion--I totally understand why Hunter is becoming quite succesful, and while I think he might be somewhat polarizing a la Taylor Swift (earlier in her career she got a lot of airplay but not always #1's), I think radio PD's are almost being forced to spin this more now because they can't really ignore its strong digital sales.
