This one will almost certainly go recurrent on Monday's 7/21 Billboard chart, after 30 weeks on the chart and 4 weeks spent at its #31 peak. That doesn't appear to be high enough for RCA to put out the album, so the pressure may be on for his next single. The album is supposed to be called "Change" and the song "Change" charted for a number of weeks last year, actually doing pretty well, but since it would show as like a 10 or 11 week old song on Billboard if it re-entered the chart, maybe that would cause them to choose another song as the single instead, since they might not want "Change" to appear as an older song. Maybe not, but you never know. They could pick another song and save "Change" for later. Just thinking out loud here..  |
